Password Safety
  • Your password should be complex and difficult for others to guess. Use letters, numbers and special characters [such as @, #, %, &, *] in your passwords.
  • Don't use passwords that are obvious@, like your name/nickname, names of your family members, your address, phone number, or any other information that a thief might find in your purse or wallet.
  • Do not use the same password as the one which you use to log in to your computer or access your e-mail.
  • If your log-in IDs or passwords appear automatically on the sign-in page of a secure web site, you should disable the auto-complete function to increase the security of your information.
  • To disable the Auto Complete function
    • Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools">>"Internet Options">>"Content"
    • Under "Personal Information", click on "Auto Complete"
    • Uncheck "User names and passwords on forms" and click on "Clear Passwords"
    • Click "OK"
  • Change your Spice Money password after your first log-in, and thereafter regularly (at least once a quarterly).
  • If you access any website (including SpiceSafar.com) from a cyber-cafe, any shared computer or a computer other than your own, change your passwords after such use in your own computer at your workplace or at home. It is very important to do so specially when you have entered your password in such a cyber-cafe computer or shared computer.
  • Never share your passwords with others, including family members, not even to an Spice Money employee.
  • Spice Money is NOT liable for any loss arising from your sharing of your user IDs, passwords with anyone, nor from their consequent unauthorized use.
Spice or its employees/customer care/ any other officials never ask any password/ one time password (OTP). Please do not share it with any one, else you may be cheated by that person (Fraudster).

If you receive any call from any person (fraudster) who can ask your password or OTP and he may tell you

  • that this call is for verification purpose and therefore share your password/OTP. If you do not share password or OTP then he may threaten you that if you do not verify yourself by sharing password or OTP, we will block your ID permanently.
  • May tempt you to provide any new service on your ID which is not available on your ID such as bank account opening, if you share your password or OTP
  • May tempt to provide some additional features/incentive/prize/cash backs/scheme etc if you share password/OTP. And If you do not share password or OTP then he may afraid you that you will lose this offer.
  • May also tell your balance, your distributor name or any other information which take you in confidence that he is calling from Spice and may obtain your password or OTP from you.
  • May also claim that there is change in version of app & to install this effectively, please share your OTP.
  • May also threaten you that he will transfer your balance to another ID or will hold your balance.
  • May also insist to install any particular application and provide access required by that app.
  • May call from a phone number +01203986786 or any other number which is similar to our customer care helpline number (+91 120 3986786), which can take you that impression that call is from Spice.
  • May also try any other ways other than mentioned above.
